MeasurImpact is a web tool that aims to democratize methods to measure impacts on society and the environment. It allows entrepreneurs and investors to account for their impact easily and transparently.
Social entrepreneurs have difficulties to measure and show the impact of their projects, depending purely on trust of donors and investors. From the social investors’ perspective, the lack of information about the social and environmental impact makes comparison among projects and selection of investees tricky. While leading social investors may have access to costly impact measurement tools, individual donors and smaller private foundations base their investments choices on abstract aspects.
